Subway Snooze Framed Canvas – Original NYC Subway Art by Howard Goodley

Some of New York City’s most meaningful moments happen when nobody is paying attention. Subway Snooze Framed Canvas captures one of those quiet moments through the eyes and extraordinary artistic talent of Howard Goodley.

Part of the exclusive Through His Eyes – Howard Goodley Collection at SoulSé Boutique, this distinctive pencil artwork portrays two passengers sitting close together on a New York City subway train, seemingly drifting into sleep during their journey. One wears a baseball cap while the other rests with his head lowered, creating a scene that feels both familiar and deeply human.

What might have been an ordinary subway ride became an unforgettable work of art through Howard Goodley’s observation, patience, and skill.

Subway Snooze Framed Canvas – A Moment of New York City Life

New York City is known for its energy, crowded streets, and constant movement. Yet beneath that activity are countless quiet stories waiting to be discovered.

In Subway Snooze, Howard Goodley invites viewers to experience a different side of the city: the stillness of two passengers sharing a moment of rest while traveling through the subway system.

The expressive pencil strokes, carefully observed facial features, and textured shading give this artwork a sense of depth and authenticity. The composition draws attention to the passengers’ relaxed postures, transforming an everyday commute into a compelling visual narrative.

This is more than subway-inspired wall décor. It is a glimpse into the everyday lives of real people, interpreted through the perspective of an artist who found inspiration in the world around him.

Original Artwork by Howard Goodley

Howard Goodley created the original Subway Snooze drawing by hand using traditional pencil-sketching techniques.

His artistic approach focused on capturing the character, emotions, and individuality of people he encountered during his travels throughout New York City.

Rather than creating staged portraits, Howard observed everyday moments and translated them into expressive works of art.

Every line, shadow, and detail in Subway Snooze reflects his personal artistic vision.

The framed canvas offered by SoulSé Boutique is a professionally printed reproduction of Howard Goodley’s original hand-drawn artwork, allowing collectors and art enthusiasts to enjoy his creative legacy in their own homes.

This is an authentic reproduction of original human-created artwork, not an AI-generated drawing.
